Course Overview:
We are creating a real opportunity for trainees to work directly with the experts at the Richmond Perfume School, and to feel like you are part of this institution and not just a trainee!
The Certified Perfume Trainer and Producer Course is designed for individuals aspiring to become experts in the art and science of perfumery. This intensive program combines theoretical knowledge with practical training, equipping participants with the skills needed to create and teach others about perfume production. Upon completion, graduates will receive a certification recognized in the fragrance industry.
Program Plan:
- Training schedules will be coordinated with the instructor to ensure a schedule that suits both of you.
- Meetings, training sessions, and workshops are typically held on weekends, London locations or online.
- The schedule for students in the Certified Instructor Program includes visits to the Richmond fragrance lab, the school, meetings with potential clients, participation in exhibitions, and more.
- Trainees will be part of the Richmond company during their training period and will receive an official company email address.
- Trainees will receive scheduled task lists from their assigned instructor.
- Trainees must complete the total training period of 60 hours within a maximum of two months.

Upon completion of this program, you will be able to:
• Master the identification and handling of diverse raw materials used in professional perfumery.
• Mentor and train junior (first and second-level) perfumers with technical expertise.
• Formulate and manufacture commercial and natural fragrances using industrial-standard methods.
• Grasp the fundamental chemistry and application of scents across various scented products.
• Execute advanced extraction techniques to derive pure aromatic oils from botanical sources.
• Expertly dilute and blend essential oils with appropriate carrier and base oils.
• Develop and safeguard perfume brands, from conceptualization to intellectual property protection.
• Generate comprehensive safety reports (such as IFRA compliance and MSDS) for the UK and EU markets, ensuring full regulatory adherence.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a "Certified Perfume Trainer and Producer" certificate, acknowledging their expertise and readiness to teach others in the field of perfumery.
